Banking System Statements export your Banking Ledger as a formatted PDF or CSV — filtered by policy, insured, or carrier — with a layout your advisor, accountant, or lender will recognize.
Why Generate Statements
Your Banking Ledger holds every capital event — premium payments, loan disbursements, loan repayments, dividends, income entries. Statements turn that raw ledger into a readable document you can share or file.
Common uses:
- Sharing with an advisor — provide a clean record of your policy activity before a review session
- Tax documentation — give your accountant a year's worth of income entries, interest paid, and loan activity in one file
- Personal records — annual PDF statements filed alongside your carrier statements
- Lender documentation — show capital deployment income to a lender reviewing your cash flow picture
How to Generate a Statement
- Navigate to Capital → Banking Ledger in the sidebar
- Click Generate Statement — in the toolbar at the top of the ledger
- Choose a filter — statements can be scoped to a single policy, an insured person (groups all their policies), or a carrier (groups all policies with that carrier)
- Select a date range — Last 30 Days, This Quarter, This Year, Last Year, All Time, or Custom
- Select entry types — All entries, Loans Only, Loan Repayments Only, Premiums Only, or Income Only
- Choose columns — select which fields to include in the output
- Click Export PDF or Export CSV — the file generates and downloads immediately
PDF Statement Layout
The PDF is formatted as a bank-style statement:
Header
- Policy Stack logo, statement title, date range, and generation date
Account Information
- Filter applied (policy name, insured name, or carrier)
- Total policies included in the statement
- Statement period
Period Summary
- Total loans taken during the period
- Total loan repayments
- Net change in loan balance
- Total income entries
Active Policy Loans (optional column)
- Current loan balances, rates, and origination dates for all loans active during the period
Transaction History

CSV Export
The CSV contains the same data as the PDF transaction history in spreadsheet format, with one row per ledger entry. Useful for importing into accounting software or doing your own analysis.

Data Accuracy Notice
Statements include a disclosure printed at the bottom:
"This statement reflects data entered by the account holder into Policy Stack. All figures are user-reported and have not been independently verified."
Policy Stack does not connect to carrier systems or verify entries against carrier records. Always cross-reference statements with your carrier portal and loan confirmation documents when sharing with a third party.
