Finding Your Advisor
The Policy Stack advisor directory helps you find whole life banking practitioners who match your needs. You can browse by location, filter by specialty, read detailed profiles, and request a consultation — all from one place.
Browsing the Directory
The directory is available at /advisors/find. It lists all advisors who have made their profiles visible, sorted by relevance based on profile completeness and engagement.
- Visit the advisor directory from the main navigation
- Browse the listing cards — each shows the advisor's photo, name, company, tagline, and credentials
- Click any card to view the advisor's full profile page
Filtering Results
Use the filters at the top of the directory to narrow your search:
- Location — filter by state to find advisors near you or in your region
- Specialty — filter by practice focus areas like business banking, real estate, or family systems
- Virtual — toggle to show advisors who offer virtual consultations
- Verified — toggle to show only advisors with verified credentials
- Search — type a name, keyword, or credential to search across all listing fields
Multiple filters can be applied at the same time. Active filters appear as removable chips above the results.
Reading an Advisor's Profile
Each advisor's full profile page includes:
- Photo, name, and company — the advisor's professional identity
- Tagline and bio — a summary of their practice, approach, and the types of clients they serve
- Credentials — professional designations displayed as badges (CLU, ChFC, CFP, etc.)
- Specializations — areas of focus with optional descriptions of their expertise
- Featured Videos — clickable video thumbnails that open in a full-screen-style player
- Featured resources — articles, podcasts, PDFs, or guides the advisor has shared
- Contact information — phone, email, website, and social links
- Booking link — if available, a direct calendar link to schedule a call
Look for advisors whose bio and specializations align with your situation. An advisor who works specifically with business owners or real estate investors will have more relevant experience than a generalist.
Requesting a Consultation
When you find an advisor you'd like to speak with:
- Click the consultation button on their profile page
- Fill out the brief request form — your name, email, and an optional message
- Submit — the advisor receives your request and will respond via email
If the advisor has a calendar booking link, you can also click Book a Call to schedule directly without waiting for an email exchange.
Requesting a consultation does not create any obligation. It simply sends your contact information to the advisor so they can reach out. You're free to request consultations from multiple advisors.
What Happens After You Request
After submitting a consultation request:
- The advisor receives an email notification with your contact details
- They review your request and respond — typically within 24-48 hours
- If you proceed, the advisor may invite you to connect your Policy Stack account for ongoing collaboration
You can also reach advisors directly using their listed phone number, email, or social links without going through the consultation request flow.
