Featured Directory Badge
The Featured badge is a visual indicator that appears on select advisor listings in the Policy Stack directory. Featured advisors are displayed at the top of directory results, above all standard listings.
What the Featured Badge Is
The Featured badge is a small label that appears on your directory card and your full profile page. It signals to prospects that you are an established practitioner on a higher-tier plan with a complete, verified profile.
Featured advisors appear in a dedicated section at the top of the directory. When a prospect searches or browses, featured listings display first, followed by standard listings sorted by completeness and engagement.
Where the Badge Appears
The Featured badge is visible in two places:
- Directory card — the badge appears next to your name on the listing card that prospects see when browsing or searching the directory
- Profile page — the badge appears on your full public profile at
/advisors/your-slug
Qualifying Plans
Featured placement is available to advisors on Practice 25 and Practice 50 plans. Practice Solo and Practice 10 plans do not include featured directory placement.

Profile Completeness Requirements
Being on a qualifying plan alone does not activate the Featured badge. Your profile must also meet all of the following completeness requirements:
- Professional photo — a headshot has been uploaded
- Bio — the bio field is filled with at least 50 words
- At least one credential — one or more certifications have been added
- Booking link — a calendar scheduling URL is present in your contact links
If any of these fields are missing, the Featured badge will not appear on your listing, even if your plan qualifies.
You can check your profile completeness at any time from Profile → Edit Profile. A completeness indicator shows which fields are filled and which are still needed.
How Featured Placement Affects Directory Position
Featured advisors always appear above non-featured advisors in directory results. Within the featured group, listings are sorted by the same completeness and engagement signals as standard listings.
This means:
- A featured advisor with strong engagement appears at the very top
- A featured advisor with a newly completed profile still appears above all standard listings
- Standard listings begin after all featured listings, regardless of their individual engagement
How to Request Featured Status
If you are on a Practice 25 or Practice 50 plan and your profile meets all completeness requirements:
- Verify your profile is complete — check for photo, bio, credential, and booking link
- Contact support via Settings → Support or email
support@policystack.co - Request featured directory placement — support will verify your plan and profile, then activate the badge
Complete your profile fully before requesting featured status. Support will check all four fields and cannot activate the badge until every requirement is met.
