Presentation Mode Guide
Presentation Mode opens calculated scenario results in a full-screen dialog designed for screen sharing or a second display. It hides the normal builder inputs and practice navigation while the dialog is open.
Entering Presentation Mode
-
Open a calculated scenario in the advisor builder.
-
Click Present in the top action row.
-
The view expands to fill the browser window, hiding the sidebar, header, and all navigation elements.
What Presentation Mode Shows
The presentation view displays:
- Scenario title and tool type at the top
- Calculated results — the tool's charts, tables, and computed values
- Modeled · Illustrative · Not recorded footer
- Practice logo and company name when advisor branding is available
The results scroll vertically inside the presentation dialog. There are no slide arrows or panel dots.
Exiting Presentation Mode
Press Escape or click Close in the top-right corner to return to the standard scenario builder.
Tips for Screen Sharing
Before a video call, open the scenario in a separate browser tab and click Present. Share only that tab or window to keep other practice content out of view.
Adjust your display resolution. If charts look small when screen-sharing, try reducing your display resolution before the call. Presentation Mode scales to fill the window, so a lower resolution means larger text and charts for the viewer.
Use a second monitor. If available, put Presentation Mode on the shared screen and keep your notes or the client's profile on your primary screen. This lets you reference client data while presenting without switching views.
