Team Member Onboarding
Team-member onboarding is intentionally short. The invitation confirms the practice and access boundary, collects the member's display name, and opens the existing practice workspace. It does not assign an advisor-style setup checklist or force an example-data tour.
Accept the Invitation
- Open the invitation and sign in or create an account with the invited email address.
- Review the named practice and select Join Team.
- Enter the display name the team should see. This step must save successfully before continuing.
- Select Go to Practice Portal.
Policy Stack switches the active context to the joined practice. A one-time welcome summarizes the member's working access and links directly into the practice.
What Their Checklist Skips
Team members do not complete owner-only tasks:
- Advisor profile setup
- License or credential submission
- Public directory setup
- Subscription selection
- Personal banking workspace exploration
Those belong to the practice owner, not the team member.
Suggested First Session
- Open Practice Dashboard and review the existing clients, pipeline, and analytics.
- Walk through a low-risk client or prospect record together so the member learns the practice's operating flow.
- Review Seats and Seat Defaults if the member will manage client access.
- Confirm which billing and team-management actions remain owner- or admin-only.
If They Do Not See the Practice
Ask them to open the context switcher in the app shell and choose the practice name. If they still do not see it, confirm they signed in with the same email address used on the team invitation.
