Book of Business
The Book of Business section provides five intelligence views that surface patterns across your entire client list. Each view presents a focused card with relevant metrics and a CSV export option, giving you a data-driven picture of your practice without prescribing specific actions.
Navigating to Book of Business
From the advisor dashboard, click Clients > Book of Business in the left navigation. You'll see all five intelligence cards on a single page.
The Five Views
1. Snapshot
A high-level summary of your practice:
- Total contacts and seated clients
- Aggregate policy count across all clients
- Average engagement score
- Total and average cash value under management (where client data is available)
This view answers the question: "What does my book look like right now?"
2. Revenue at Risk
Surfaces clients whose engagement has declined or whose seats may not renew. Metrics shown include:
- Clients with no recorded interaction in 60+ days
- Clients with declining engagement scores (trending down over 90 days)
- Seat count in each category
This is a factual view of engagement trends — it presents the data without characterizing any client relationship as good or bad.
3. Top 10%
Highlights your most-engaged clients by engagement score. This view shows:
- The top decile of clients ranked by engagement
- Their average policy count and last interaction date
- Aggregate cash value represented
Use this view to understand which relationships are most active.
4. Underserved
Identifies clients whose touch cadence has elapsed without a recorded interaction. Metrics include:
- Count of clients past their cadence window
- Average days since last interaction for this group
- Breakdown by cadence tier (weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly)
"Underserved" means the assigned cadence window has elapsed — it's a neutral description of timing, not a judgment about the quality of your relationship with the client.
5. Opportunities
Shows clients who may benefit from attention based on practice signals:
- Clients with no policies recorded yet (data entry opportunities)
- Clients approaching policy anniversaries
- Recently connected clients with incomplete profiles
Exporting Data
Each card includes a CSV Export button in its header. Clicking it downloads a CSV file containing the contacts and metrics shown in that specific view, with your current filters applied. Exports include all contact fields plus the metrics relevant to that view.
How Data Is Calculated
All Book of Business metrics are derived from your existing client data — interactions logged, policies recorded, and engagement scores calculated by Policy Stack. No external data sources are used. Metrics refresh each time you load the page.
