Practice Goals
Practice Goals let you set targets for your advisory practice and track progress over time. Goals live alongside the Analytics Dashboard and give context to the growth trends you're seeing.
Creating a Practice Goal
- Navigate to Analytics → Practice Goals
- Click New Goal
- Select a goal type from the dropdown
- Enter your target value and target date
- Click Save Goal — the goal appears in your Goals list immediately
Available Goal Types
| Goal Type | What You're Tracking | |-----------|---------------------| | Total Seated Clients | Total number of clients connected to your practice | | Active Clients | Clients with at least one login per month | | New Clients per Quarter | Clients added in a rolling 90-day window | | Average Engagement Score | Mean engagement across your client base | | Consultation Requests | Inbound requests from your public profile |
Practice Goals track your advisory practice metrics only — client count, engagement, and growth. They are separate from individual client goals, which clients set within their own accounts to track their banking system progress.
Reading Goal Progress
Each goal displays:
- Current value — pulled live from your practice data
- Target value — what you set when creating the goal
- Target date — the date you set as your milestone
- Progress bar — visual representation of current vs. target
- Trend — whether you're ahead, on pace, or behind the linear path to your target
Goal progress is labeled as On Pace, Ahead, or Extended — not as success or failure. Practice growth is rarely linear, and a quarter with fewer new clients doesn't mean the goal won't be reached.
Editing and Archiving Goals
- Click any goal in your Goals list to open the detail view
- Click Edit to update the target value or target date
- Click Archive to remove a completed or no-longer-relevant goal from your active list
Archived goals are retained and visible in the Archived tab. They do not appear in your active Goals dashboard.
Goals and the Analytics Dashboard
Your active goals appear as a summary widget at the top of the Analytics Dashboard, showing the two nearest-deadline goals with their current progress. This gives you a quick read on practice direction without navigating to the full Goals view.
