Starter (tier)
Starter is the free tier of Policy Stack for individual practitioners. It provides access to core tracking features with some limits on the number of records and features available.
Starter includes:
- 1 policy and unlimited policy loans tied to that policy
- First-policy AI extraction during setup
- 2 live tools: Policy Loan Repayment Modeler and Human Life Value
- AI Assistant in Help Mode (FAQ and guidance only — no access to your data)
- Manual snapshots and policy tracking after setup
- 250 MB document storage
Not included in Starter:
- AI Insights
- General document extraction after first-policy setup
- Assets and goals
- Advanced analytics
- CSV/PDF export
- Unlimited policies, assets, and goals
Features not included in Starter are visible in the interface with a lock indicator that links to the upgrade flow. Nothing is hidden — you can see what Builder Pro offers before upgrading.
