Engagement Score
Engagement score is an advisor-facing metric that reflects a connected client's activity level within Policy Stack. It gives advisors a quick view of how actively a client is using the platform to track their banking system.
The engagement score is calculated from several activity signals:
- Login frequency — how often the client signs in to Policy Stack
- Snapshot recency — how recently the client recorded a policy snapshot
- Feature usage — whether the client uses tools, views their dashboard, updates deployment records, or interacts with the knowledge base
The score is presented as a relative indicator (not an absolute number) so advisors can identify which clients are actively engaged and which may benefit from a check-in.
The engagement score is visible only to advisors in their advisor portal. Clients (consumers) do not see their own engagement score. It is a practice management metric, not a judgment of client behavior.
Engagement score is one data point among many that advisors can use for practice management. It does not indicate anything about the quality of a client's banking system or their financial decisions.
Policy Stack calculates the engagement score automatically based on recorded activity. Advisors do not need to configure or adjust it.
