Your Financial Blueprint is your household’s own record of where it stands today, in your own words. Find it at Toolkit → Financial Blueprint, also linked from Documents.
The Blueprint is a record of what your household said. It is not a financial plan, and it does not tell you what to do.
One Blueprint Per Household
Your household shares one Blueprint. Every question is optional, each section saves on its own, and each section shows how many of its questions are answered. You can change an answer at any time.
The sections are Contact Basics, Family & Vision, Income, Cash Flow, Assets & Liabilities, Goals & Priorities, Protection & Insurance, Household Members, Business & Estate, and Mindset & Fit.
Household Members
Household Members records who is in your household: relationship, name, sex, and date of birth, plus an email address for a spouse or partner.
Your own Blueprint does not ask health or insurability questions. An intake form an advisor sends you may ask them; any answers you give there are part of the Blueprint your advisor holds, not this one.
What Is Encrypted
Your income, cash flow, assets and liabilities, and household member details are encrypted when they are stored.
Sharing With an Advisor
When you are connected with an advisor and share your data with them, they see your saved answers from the moment the connection becomes active, and each change you save updates their copy.
Your advisor can read your answers but cannot change them. An advisor adds their own context in private notes instead.
Disconnecting in Settings → Advisor Access stops sharing. The answers your advisor holds at that moment stay in their records; changes you save after you disconnect are not shared.
Confirming a Household Check-In
When a connected advisor asks you to review your Blueprint, a request appears at the top of the page instead of an intake link, and you also get a notification.
- Update anything that has changed.
- Select Confirm my Blueprint is current.
Confirming shares the answers you have saved and records the Check-In your advisor sees.
Saving alone does not record a Check-In. The confirmation step is what records it.
Our Financial Doctrine
The Our Financial Doctrine tab turns your Blueprint answers into a document written in your household’s own first-person voice — your north star, guiding principles, and the questions you ask before a big decision. Household member details are never used in it.
Builder Pro households can generate one up to three times per calendar month, and each generation is confirmed first. The document is yours: edit and save it, start a new version, read earlier versions, or download any version as a PDF.
While you share your data with a connected advisor, that advisor can read and download your latest version but cannot change it.
