The Policy Portfolio at Policies combines current policy position, coverage, scheduled premium structure, freshness, and inventory controls.
Portfolio Hero
Use the three hero modes to change the portfolio question:
- Net CV shows Actual Net CV and its recorded history. The detail line separates Total CV and In Use.
- Death benefit shows the latest Actual recorded coverage across the filtered policies.
- Premium mix shows Planned annual premium split between scheduled Base, scheduled PUA, and standalone PUA-only Auto Log schedules. It does not represent premiums already paid.
The right side shows policies in view, snapshot coverage, insured people, and In Use. The completeness line reports how many policies have both CV and loan values for the latest complete portfolio position.
Filters apply to the hero and inventory together. Selecting one insured person changes the title and recomputes the displayed totals for that person's policies.
Find and Compare Policies
The inventory controls include:
- Search by policy, carrier, or insured information
- Carrier and policy-type filters
- An insured-person selector in the page header
- Sorting by policy, insured person, Net CV, Total CV, In Use, death benefit, premium, or latest snapshot
Use Cards for a compact operating view or Table for column-by-column comparison and filtered totals. The selected view is saved for the next visit.
Both views keep source and freshness visible. Actual values come from snapshots; scheduled premium values are Planned.
Update the Records
Each policy provides actions to open its workspace, add a manual snapshot, or upload a statement. Update Snapshots starts the multi-policy statement flow.
The AI Summary section can describe your recorded policy data. It remains factual and does not change policy records.
Delete and Restore Behavior
Deleting a policy from its workspace is permanent. Review the confirmation dialog carefully because the policy and its related records are removed.
The collapsed Recently Deleted section may still show policies that were soft-deleted under the previous deletion flow. Those older records remain eligible for restoration for 30 days after their deletion date.
Starter supports one policy. Builder Pro supports an unlimited policy inventory.
