Available Credit
Available credit is the undrawn capacity remaining on a revolving credit facility: the Credit Limit minus the current facility balance. It answers "how much could I still draw on this line right now."
Available credit is specific to a facility with a stated credit limit (an IBLOC or CVLOC). It is a different idea from Available CV — the cash-value figure on a policy — and from a facility's Credit Limit, which is the ceiling rather than the room left under it.
On an open facility, Policy Stack shows available credit as a recorded figure. If the balance ever sits above the limit, available credit reads as a negative number rather than a hidden zero, so the picture stays honest. On a closed facility, no available credit is shown.
