Asset Type
Asset type is the category of asset into which capital has been deployed. Policy Stack uses asset types to classify deployments and group them in your analytics.
Available asset types in Policy Stack:
- Real Estate — rental property, fix-and-flip, land
- Private Loan / Note — promissory notes, private lending
- Business — business investment, operating capital
- Vehicle / Equipment — vehicles, machinery, equipment financing
- Other — anything not covered by the above categories
Asset type is selected when you create a deployment record. It is used for filtering and grouping in the deployment list and analytics views. It does not affect calculations — spread, LTV, and velocity are calculated the same regardless of asset type.
