When your advisor offers an Academy, it appears under Explore → Academy.
- If you open a course link before setting up an account, you set up Policy Stack once, agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on the last lesson card, and return to the course as a Starter.
- Enroll in free courses in one step. Paid courses check out through Stripe.
- Your courses stay in My Learning, with your progress and private notes.
- Finishing a course can give you a certificate of completion. It is not professional accreditation.
- Completion and recognition: finishing a course records it. You can choose to be shown as a completer (first name and last initial, or initials) and can stop any time. The course page shows a completer count. An Academy can also turn on an opt-in leaderboard ranked on lessons completed and weeks in a row.
- Learning paths: an advisor orders courses once and assigns the path. The first course goes out right away, and each next step opens when the client finishes the one before it. A step is a gift or to buy. The client sees the steps and when a locked step opens.
- Rate a course from 1 to 5 stars after the last lesson, with an optional comment. The instructor sees the rating and comment without your name, and you can change it. Other learners never see ratings.
- Courses aren’t available on a team member account.
- Ask a question from a course or lesson. It goes to the Academy team when the course accepts questions, otherwise to Policy Stack Support. Replies come by email, and the answer shows in the course.
