Your advisor dashboard is the first thing you see when you enter the Advisor view. Its book-magnitude hero shows the practice you have recorded, while the Today queue keeps the next client-facing actions close at hand.

Priorities dashboard
Where this layout is enabled, Today and the next seven days form the main column. Quick actions, Practice goals, and Tasks sit in a right rail on wide screens and stack on smaller screens. Book of business follows below. Reports and Client Contact streak are omitted. Select a day to reveal full event titles, category badges and icons, and available links.
Book of business has four selectors: households under care, death benefit, policies issued this year, and estimated pipeline premiums. Each opens a chart and supporting details: household additions and policy issuance by month, death-benefit value coverage by category, or deal counts by current stage. Monthly charts use dated records in the current book, not historical book size. Death benefit identifies policies with unavailable values; a known subtotal is not the full book total. Pipeline premiums are estimates on open deals, not premiums paid.
The practice owner can Edit inline to set annual household-added and policy-issued targets with progress bars. Manage goals sets annual targets for households added and policies issued, alongside consultation requests, conversion rate and reviews. Annual counts use the current assigned book and can change when assignments change. Annual targets belong to a UTC year; a previous-year target is not carried into the next year. Blank fields leave saved targets unchanged, and zero targets have no percentage progress. Team members cannot manage owner targets. Example edits stay in the current session.
Tasks require a linked client when added. Mark complete saves completion; Dismiss completed removes a completed task from the list rather than reopening it. Failed writes keep the task visible, and example tasks stay local. Quick note is unavailable in example and impersonation views.
The earlier dashboard layout retains the following book hero and depth sections.
Book Magnitude
The hero shows households under care, distinct recorded insured names, recorded death benefit placed, and households added this calendar year. These are recorded-only values, so Actual is implicit rather than repeated as a badge.
Today Queue
The “N need you” chip counts the actionable rows visible in the queue. Pending connection requests come first, followed by ranked client signals. Contacts with nothing actionable are not added as filler; when both sources load and return no rows, the chip reads All clear.
Practice Depth
Practice Depth describes three recorded coverage measures without grading the practice:
- Connected — An active-client contact counts only when it has a linked user account AND either an accepted/active seat or at least one recorded policy snapshot. A user ID alone does not count.
- Reviewed this year — households with a current annual statement dated within the last 11 months.
- Capital in motion — households with an active recorded policy loan or asset, with dollars drawn from recorded loan balances and capital deployed.
The milestones below these measures are labeled Planned. An achieved marker is factual and amber; the coverage colors identify the measure rather than judging it.
Client Contact Streak
The Client Contact streak counts consecutive weeks with at least one logged touchpoint. The current week stays open until it ends, so checking mid-week does not break the run. Log a touchpoint opens Quick Note. Writes are disabled while impersonating another account and in example mode, so example data cannot reach real contact notes.
Practice Metrics
The two-cell strip shows Pipeline, a point-in-time value with an Estimated label, and Placed this year, the recorded count of policies issued in the current calendar year plus the represented households. Neither value has a decorative sparkline.
Reports and Tasks remain below these daily and growth surfaces. The weekly band still shows the next seven days and links to Schedule.
The AI assistant can explain these dashboard measures, but it cannot log a touchpoint or change dashboard records for you.
