System Position
System position is the aggregate view of your entire banking system at a point in time. It combines data from all policies in your household into a single set of key metrics:

System position gives you a single-screen view of where your banking system stands without needing to check each policy individually.
How It's Calculated
Policy Stack pulls the most recent snapshot from each policy to compute system position. If one policy was last updated three months ago and another was updated yesterday, the system position reflects both — which means older snapshots may not reflect current carrier values.
For the most accurate system position, record snapshots for all policies around the same date — such as after receiving annual statements.
Where It Appears
The Dashboard displays Net CV as its hero metric. Banking History separates Total CV, Net CV, and In Use across recorded snapshots. The Policy Portfolio provides the same position at portfolio level with snapshot coverage and completeness context.
System position is based on recorded policy snapshots and carries the applicable Actual or Computed source label. Modeled future values remain separate from the current recorded position.
